I like the layout. However, shouldn't the photo be a lotus blossom, not a rose?
yes and no. It needs to be a picture of a blue lotus, and the only picture I have been able to find for a blue lotus is rather ugly. Also, The rose links to the part, 'in my father's hands', because my daddy calls me his rosebud. ;-)
